The Greatest Provider

“This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First he supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow.” 2 Corinthians 9:10

My father loves planting. He planted calamansi, sweet potato, chili pepper, and others. We barely harvest from them; we let our neighbors get the produce instead. However, a different story goes for our tomatoes. Four tomato seedlings were planted, but only two of them survived. These two give us a lot of fruits, which are enough for our needs. In this time that we cannot go out due to quarantine and buying tomatoes can be expensive, I am thankful that my father planted these vegetables, and he knows how to share them with others. More so, I can say that our God is really our source. He knows how and when to provide.

Abba Daddy is a generous God. He will provide for our needs and give us “bread for eating.” He is the One who can supply our needs and more. We should not worry because He is not limited! He can provide us with ways we may not have imagined or figured out ahead of time. As we steward what He gives to us, He can also multiply that! How about that? This is not just a time to receive but to share what we are given with. He can even grow what we can harvest when we sow in generosity!

Whenever you feel like you lack in life, be reminded that He is a great provider. He will supply what you need and even more. You are well covered by your Father!
